Topic: Free Mortgage and Forclosure Prevention Assistance for: Unemployed, Underemployed and Others Who Have Had a Recent Reduction In Income

The human resource employees in a company are often the first to know when employees are having or may soon have a difficult time paying their mortgages. You will know when your company is planning a reduction in force, when work hours may be reduced, when you have hired someone who is now underemployed or when someone has been unable to work because of an illness. In this session, you will learn simple steps you may take to help your employees or others in your community remain in their homes and about funding that is available for such circumstances as this, including SC Housing Corporation (SCHC) and South Carolina Homeownership and Employment Lending Program (SC HELP) administered funds.
